Advance Diploma in Administrative Management

The Institute of Administrative Management (IAM) offers Diploma and Advanced Diploma leading to BA (Honours) in Business Management in conjunction with University of Wales and MDP.

Learning Aim

The aim of the programme is to develop an appreciation of the people-management functions within the organisation. This course provides a general introduction to the relevance of the systems approach. It also asks candidates to consider administration in its wider organisational context. Candidates are introduced to some of the key concerns of administrative managers within a rapidly changing environment. It also develops candidate’s appreciation of the need to manage information.

Duration: Three (3) years

Entry Criteria
The Certificate is “open access” to all candidates starting point for further learning and / or development at work, in the field of administration.

BA (Hons) in Tourism And Hospitality

The Organization for Tourism and Hospitality Management (OTHM)

OTHM of UK in collaboration with the London South Bank University (LSBU) offers professional qualifications in tourism and hospitality management. The organization has already obtained worldwide recognition for good practice. OTHM students have clear access to the LSBU's BA (Hons) Programme in Tourism and Hospitality and their MSc in International Tourism Marketing. The career progression route is diagrammed below:

OTHM PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATE:

Modules
This six month programme provides knowledge of roles of supply chain in the tourism and hospitality industry. It also gives an indication of the main forces driving the fastest growing industry.

The OTHM professional certificate consists of the following four(4) modules:

1. Introduction to Travel, Tourism and Hospitality

2. Introduction to the Business Environment

3. Introduction to Business Communication and Customer Care

4. Introduction to Business and Finance

*Each module requires 45 hours of classroom teaching.

OTHM PROFESSIONAL DIPLOMA

This one-year programme follows successful completion of the professional certificate course. This level requires thorough study of the roles of industry players and the issues in tourism and hospitality management.

This Level requires six modules:

Part 1

1. Tourism Marketing and Management

2. Hospitality Marketing and Management

3. Human Resource Management

Part II

4. Tourism and Hospitality Operations Management

5. Financial Management and Information Systems

6. Customer Relations and the Business Environment

OTHM PROFESSIONAL HIGHER DIPLOMA LEADING TO BA (HONS) IN TOURISM AND HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT

This is also a one-year programme followed by a diploma and a professional certificate programme for someone with same industry experience at a suitable level in lieu of the qualifications.

Bachelor of Laws (LLB)

University of London External Programme:

The University of London is one of the leading universities in the world. It has been offering its external degree programmes to students for almost 150 years. The university’s English Law degree (the LLB) is a traditional prestigious law degree.

Learning Aim
The objective of the programme is to enable you to develop critical awareness of common law & legal tradition and to provide training in legal research methods and study skills.

Duration: Three (3) years

Entry Requirements
In order to satisfy the entrance requirements for the LLB you must normally be 18 years of age at the time of registration and have passes in:

  • Either two subjects at GCE 'A' level and at least three further subjects at GCSE/GCE 'O' level (at not less than grade C or a ‘pass’ if taken prior to 1975)
  • or three subjects at GCE 'A' level (one 'A' level at not less than Grade D) or above
  • or three subjects at GCE 'A' level and one further subject at GCSE/GCE 'O' level at Grade C or above
  • or two subjects at GCE 'A' level, plus two further subjects at GCE 'AS' level

English language requirement-
The University of London reserves the right to request applicants to provide evidence acceptable to the University of oral and written competence in English before an offer of registration can be made.

Assessment:
All assessments are set and marked by the awarding body. Examinations are conducted in centres in the UK and around the world. Exams are held once a year commencing in May /June. Each unit is assessed by a three-hour unseen written paper

Career Progression:

You may want to become a solicitor or a barrister or go for employment after successful completion of your law degree. If your purpose in undertaking the LLB is to practice as a solicitor or barrister in required subjects and also subsidiary requirements, e.g. about the number of attempts at passing examinayour jurisdiction, you need to be aware that different jurisdictions have varying prescriptions about tions. Professional Graduate Diploma in IT

Brit College as an accredited centre provides tuition towards a BCS qualification. Our IT programme comprises the state of the art technology, a modern computer lab, a library, professional teaching staff and a highly motivated administration section. We ensure individual care to each student.


The three levels of examination (Certificate, Diploma, and Professional Graduate Diploma) and associated projects have been developed in consultation with employers to meet the demands and evolving needs of the IT community.

Applicants must be 18 years or over.
Applicants should have passed in either:
Two subjects at GCE 'A' Level + at least three further subjects at GCSE or GCE 'O' Level
(at not less than grade C or a 'pass') with no less than grade C in a mathematical subject.
or three subjects at GCE 'A' Level + one further subject at GCSE or GCE 'O' Level (at not less than grade C)
or two subjects at GCE 'A' Level + two further subjects at 'AS' Level.
or any other overseas equivalent qualifications.
